Camera, screenshots, shortcuts, clipboard history, timer, checklist, a file shelf and Now Playing controls — all in your notch.
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, on an Apple Silicon Mac. A camera is needed only for the camera tool.
Install from the Mac App Store and launch it. It appears in your menu bar — there is deliberately no Dock icon and no window.
A short walkthrough opens automatically. macOS asks for permission the first time you use the camera or the Now Playing controls.
Ultimate Notch has no Dock icon and no window, so nothing appears on screen when you launch it. Look for the small laptop icon in your menu bar, near the clock — clicking it opens Settings and Quit.
The tools themselves live in the notch. Move your pointer over it and the black shelf expands sideways. On a Mac without a notch, hover the small pill at the top-centre of your screen instead.
You can change any of these later in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Denying one only disables that feature.
