Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Ultimate Notch (“the App”), developed by Gamify Tech Solutions, handles information. In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

1. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect personal information. It does not create accounts, does not require sign-in, and contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. Nothing you do in the App is transmitted anywhere.

2. Information processed locally on your device

To provide its features, the App reads and processes the following entirely on your Mac. None of it is transmitted to us or any third party:

• Camera — when you open the camera tool a live preview is shown. Photos are created only when you press the shutter, and are saved to your Downloads folder and copied to your clipboard. Camera access requires your explicit macOS permission.
• Clipboard history — recent copied text is kept locally so you can paste it again. Items that password managers mark as private are ignored. You can clear the history at any time.
• Now Playing — the App asks Apple Music and Spotify for the current track's title, artist, album, duration and position using macOS automation (Apple Events). This is read on demand, never stored or transmitted, and only if those apps are already running.
• Files — files you drag onto the notch are referenced from where they already live on your Mac. When another app hands over a file as a promise, it is copied into a temporary folder so it can appear on the shelf.
• Preferences and tasks — your settings and checklist items are saved locally using macOS user defaults.

3. Permissions

The App may ask for the following macOS permissions, which you can grant or revoke at any time in System Settings. Denying one only disables the related feature:

• Camera — for the camera tool.
• Automation (Apple Events) — for Apple Music and Spotify, so Now Playing can read the current track and control playback. The App sends Apple Events to no other application.
• Notifications — so a finished timer can alert you.

4. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because the App collects no data at all, no personal information of any user is gathered.

5. Data security

All processing happens locally and nothing is transmitted, so your information is protected by your Mac's own security. We do not operate servers that store user data.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “Last updated” date.
